Selected for the second year in a row in 2022 as a Rising Star Attorney by Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers for the Mid-South and twice recognized by his peers as a Top Attorney of Intellectual Property in Fort Worth, Texas Magazine (Years 2015 & 2016), Chase LanCarte practices in the areas of music and entertainment, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and corporate law.
Chase’s areas of focus are largely inspired by his musical upbringing and passion for the arts. As a musician, Chase has had the honor of playing and singing along-side such notable artists as Michael Martin Murphey and Tanya Tucker.
Having grown up working in his family's five-generation business, Joe T. Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, and later for various music companies including Concord Music Group in Beverly Hills, Chase knows the importance of implementing and maintaining a structure for a business that will strengthen and support its success.
Chase's deep understanding and appreciation of business and the arts, led him to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing with a minor in Music from The University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law). In May 2016, Chase received his LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Chase counsels clients on strategic opportunities that will afford them the greatest protection under the law while achieving their vision and goals. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Texas, and New York.
